When you install Restock, we store your shop's domain and an offline access token issued by Shopify, so we can call the Shopify Admin API on your behalf. We read your order line items - specifically each item's product variant, quantity, and the date it was processed - and your product inventory levels. We do not collect or store customer names, emails, addresses, or any other customer-identifying information.
We also read your store's contact email (the one in your Shopify admin settings) to send you a weekly digest of products that need reordering. This is your store's contact address, not a customer's.
This data is used for one purpose: forecasting product demand and generating reorder recommendations (how much to reorder, and by when) for your store, including the weekly email summary. We don't use it for anything else, and we don't sell or share it with third parties.
We keep your shop's data for as long as the app stays installed. When you uninstall Restock, Shopify notifies us and we delete your shop's access token and all of its order line item data from our database.
All traffic to and from Restock is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
